The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) meets in New York City on Friday, September 13, following Russia’s request to discuss Western arms supplies to Ukraine. Russia has previously accused the US and its NATO allies of direct involvement in the conflict, with Kiev’s incursion into Kursk and deadly drone attacks on Moscow region heightening tensions. Ukraine has repeatedly called on its allies to lift all restrictions on weaponry, and supply equipment for long-range strikes deep inside Russia
