Iran Confronts USA & Israel at UNSC emergency meeting following Israeli strikes on Iran!

The UN Security Council meets at the request of Russia, China, and Algeria, addressing the recent escalation between Israel and Iran in New York City, on Monday, October 28. Israel hit Iran with airstrikes in the early hours of Saturday, which Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed had targeted air defences and missile production facilities. Iranian leaders warned of potential retaliation. It came following broader regional escalation, with Israel conducting offensives against Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon. Iran launched a wave of missile strikes on Israel at the start of October, after the killing of Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah and others.
